So I no longer wish to relax my hair cont'd

So I stopped chemically straightening my hair, bcus i am fed up of getting burns in my scalp and on the back of my ears. I no longer want to keep going to salons every 8 weeks to make sure my hair stays on my head, because fear of leaving it longer than 8 weeks that all my hair will break off (if I dont get the old creamy relaxer done!).

So my friend, hair dresser told me to get some treatments done, so I am doing them myself. I agreed that I would use Motion, It was the relaxer system I used and was happy with the brand.

So I got the CPR which means Critical repair and protection system for your hair.
Now because my hair has the two different textures ( relaxed ends and some thick afro roots) I am using this product with the hope it will do what it says on the Tub. which is that it will stop serious or eevn slow breakage with one treatment. It also says it is a product that can be used when breakage is anticipated (Such as transitioning from relaxer to my natural roots 2 diffent texures). It says it has 15 African herbs and will leave my hair better than It started out.

Suprisingly I washed my hair with my usual shampoo towel dried it and applied the cpr after detangling my hair.. i did what I normally do parting my hair and applied CPR from roots to tips.

I used my heat/ conditioning cap for 30 mins, because the heat help this product penetrate the hair shaft.

The results were better than I imagined. My hair felt strong yet not ruff or dry compaired to before. as it says It stopped the breaking after one use, so i was impressed, but still thinking how can this be with two textures, you know!. I proceeded to blow dry my hair, because it is still mostly relaxed and it was shiney and still strong.. I stayed away from heavy oil and still got this.

So right about now this is my staple deep conditioner, it looks like something you can eat, and smells great with little herbs in it.. The only thing is it needs to be rinsed out really good, beacuse you migh still find little bits of the herbs in your hair regardless..

yeah it did what it says on the tin, so to speak, but lets see if it can keep up to its promise..

I intend to put plaits in my hair and grow the relaxer out further untill i have full natural roots with no relaxer left.

will let you know how this goes..
